FISH OF SANCAP, United Way Partner for Furniture Distribution

FISH OF SANCAP, with the United Way Gifts-in-Kind Program, will begin distributing furniture through their Hurricane Ian Point of Distribution Program (POD). The program is available to Sanibel and Captiva Island residents and workforce.

Beginning Thurs., Jan. 19, FISH will distribute furnishings, generously donated through the United Way Gifts-in-Kind program, to those in need on the islands. Recipients must either be residents of Sanibel or Captiva or show proof of island employment.  Items for distribution may include, but are not limited to:

  • Mattresses
  • Bed frames
  • Chairs and tables
  • Accent furniture

“We are pleased to partner with United Way to offer this valuable program to our community members, many of which have lost everything due to Hurricane Ian,” says Manuela Martinez, Program Coordinator. United Way is offering furniture points of distribution throughout Lee County.
