Islanders, friends and family are invited to the community-wide FISH OF SANCAP Friendly Faces Luncheon, scheduled for Tues., Mar. 12 beginning at 11:00am. Anne Joffe, owner of She Sells Sea Shells will discuss her interest in and love of shells. Sanibel Deli will provide lunch, complimentary to all guests. Residents earning $66,000 or less can have their federal tax returns prepared and e-filed for FREE by United Way’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Appointments are required and can be made by scheduling online. You may also dial 2-1-1 or call 239-433-3900 to schedule an appointment. VITA prepares simple returns, certain restrictions apply. Island residents and workforce are invited to a Spring Community Event co-hosted by FISH OF SANCAP and Community Housing & Resources (CHR). The event will take place on Wed., Mar. 27 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 800 Casa Ybel Road, Unit 7, Sanibel.
