Helping Neighbors: If You Plan To Succeed, You Must Have A Plan!
A budget is a plan to set and reach financial goals. Once you understand the overall picture of your finances--specifically, identifying how money flows in and out of your life--you can better see how to reach your financial goals. If you're trying to get out of debt, it's essential to budget your funds to make debt payoff a priority.
F.I.S.H. OF SANCAP, in partnership with Fifth Third Bank’s Empower-U™ Program, is holding a basic budgeting workshop on Thurs., May 4, 2017 from 6:30 p.m. – 8: 00 p.m. at The Sanibel Community Church located at 1740 Periwinkle Way. Participants will learn how to create and maintain a budget, save more and spend less, and become more proactive and less reactive with their financial management. John, who attended a similar FISH workshop last quarter, says “Personally, I found it enlightening to assess my own finances. Once you have a clear view of your overall financial picture, you can shift your focus to aggressively eliminating debts and building wealth. I certainly look forward to that!”
This workshop is complimentary and open to the community. Light refreshments will be provided, and participants will receive a certificate of completion. To learn more and to RSVP, please contact Kathy Y. Monroe, M.S.G., Program Director at F.I.S.H., 239-472-4775
