Most do not know that 1 in 5 adults have some type of arthritis. Join us for this informative lecture, presented by Sharon Krispinksy, RN, BSN, CDE, that will discuss osteoarthritis, including foods that help with the inflammation caused by the condition. The lecture will explore the osteoarthritis risk factors, non-pharmacologic treatment and medications used to treat this condition. The program will also discuss a complimentary community program designed to teach individuals how to self-manage chronic pain conditions.
Says Kathy Y. Monroe, M.S.G., FISH Program Director , “Joint Us for the Journey” is going to be very insightful. Participants will learn about the non-medicated ways to manage joint and arthritic pain. I think this is an interesting alternative approach because it is a method that will leave you without chemical residual in your system.”
If you would like additional information on Osteoarthritis: ‘Joint Us For The Journey’ and to RSVP, please contact Kathy Y. Monroe, M.S.G., FISH Program Director, at (239) 472-4775. RSVPs are required no later than October 20, 2017.
