Helping Neighbors: Thank you, Sanibel & Captiva Islands, from F.I.S.H. OF SANCAP
Thank you Sanibel & Captiva residents and visitors. Thank you Sanibel & Captiva businesses, foundations, organizations and municipalities. Thank you Sanibel & Captiva volunteers! F.I.S.H. OF SANCAP cannot say thank you enough for your generous support of our mission, programs, services and workshops to benefit our island neighbors, workers and visitors.
At FISH, their vision is to enrich the lives of everyone on Sanibel and Captiva Islands through an array of Food Programs, Island Based Workshops, Social Services and Helping Hands. FISH answered nearly 15,000 requests for services in 2017, and that number will surely increase for 2018. Many requests are for those seeking resources, medical equipment and transportation, while others have come across hard times, requesting temporary emergency financial assistance. FISH is for everyone, and prides itself on being able to respond to every call or inquiry to the agency, 365 days per year. FISH could not continue to provide the many programs services and workshops that they do without the support of the entire community.
The generous donations of cash, food, in-kind services and time go a long way to help FISH bring much needed services to the Sanibel & Captiva islands. These donations have made a real difference in the lives of our neighbors and visitors. Thanks to the community, FISH can continue to help our neighbors navigate through disastrous times (Red Tide/Green Algae), through times of crisis (medical emergencies, job loss), through self-improvement actions (continuing education scholarships, tutoring, youth scholarships), and SO MUCH MORE! Our neighbors’ successes are yours too, and we hope you are proud of your achievements.

Again, thank you for all you do for F.I.S.H. OF SANCAP.
