OF SANCAP, with Sue Townsend, RN Certified Dementia Practitioner with Home Instead Senior Care, is offering ‘Caregiver Training: For Those Caring for a Loved One with Dementia/Alzheimer’s’ on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM at Sanibel Congregational United Church of Christ/Heron Hall, 2050 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel.

According to the Alzheimer’s Association, there are an estimated 5.7 million Americans currently living with Alzheimer’s disease and 16.1 million Americans providing unpaid care (family caregivers) for someone with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia
Caregivers need to know how to provide the highest level of person-centered care from those suffering from it. She will teach the caregiver the most comprehensive way of care and share resources and other information to help them as they continue to care for their loved one or client
