Sanibel Attorney Janet Strickland Returns as Silver Sponsor of 10K Race 4 F.I.S.H.
The Law Office of Janet Strickland, P.A. returns as a Silver Sponsor of the 10K Race 4 F.I.S.H. Strickland has been active in the Sanibel community since moving to the island and pleased to support F.I.S.H. of SANCAP through the popular foot race that attracts hundreds of runners from near and far.
“Sanibel has some of the best organizations, making it a terrific place to live and work,” said Strickland, who serves on the Board of BIG ARTS and is a member of 'Ding' Darling Wildlife Society, Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife and Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation.
Strickland first opened her own law office in Port Orange, Fla., before opening her office on Sanibel, where she continues to enjoy island life and continued professional success. She is now in her 30th year of practicing law. Her areas of practice include wills, trusts and estate planning; probate of estates; preparation of real estate documents; and transactional business matters. She's a member of Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar and Estate Planning Council of Lee County.

The 10K Race, in its 11th year, is set for 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Sanibel Community House, 2173 Periwinkle Way. This year’s race will feature a kid’s run for those 10 years and younger at the Sanibel Community Park. It’s free of charge, but registration is required.
Race registration is open at ftmyerstrackclub.com or print and entry form at fishofsancap.org. Cost is $40 for those who register before Oct. 20, $45 from Oct. 21-25 and $50 on race day.
