Helping Neighbors: Mental Health Series Part V: ‘It Takes a Village’

FISH is teaming up with the Sanibel Police Department, Centerstone FACT Team, Park Royal Hospital, and the Sanibel Community House for the last presentation in their mental health series, ‘It Takes a Village’. This presentation will be held on Wednesday, February 12 from 10:00am – noon at the Sanibel Community House, 2173 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel.

Presenters Leann Marston, LCSW, Director Outpatient Services, Park Royal Hospital; Adina Bridges, MSW, Manager, Centerstone FACT Team and a Crisis Intervention Trained (CIT) Officer from the Sanibel Police Department will inform how the community-at-large, plays a part with helping those living with mental illness.

Adina Bridges, Centerstone, states, “As a team member of Centerstone, I am passionate in delivering comprehensive, community –based services aimed to deliver treatment to maintain stability for those most vulnerable in the community. We are able to connect medically needy and psychiatric clients to services such as housing, medications, rehab, treatment courts, etc.”
