Celebrating a ‘Venetian Masquerade’ at F.I.S.H.’s Live Event Fundraiser
On March 1, 2020, FISH OF SANCAP held its 7th Annual Go F.I.S.H.! fundraising event at The Sanctuary Golf Club featuring a Venetian Masquerade theme. FISH President & CEO, Maggi Feiner states, “This is our most important fundraiser of the year, as every dollar raised goes directly back to this community. We are thrilled at the success of the evening, and humbled by the generosity of our community.”
With a continual increase in demand for services, FISH showcased Island Giving opportunities to bring increased awareness to their programming and to give guests the opportunity to donate toward one or more of these critical programs. Auctioneer Tommy Williams led the live auction, while guests bid on spectacular auction items to support the organization’s mission. Local talent Amy Sbarra, with accompanying pianist Stu Shelton, entertained guests jazz, swing and standard favorite performances.
“This fun-filled evening helped to raise funds and awareness for FISH, an organization that is near and dear to our hearts,” stated Pat and Mike Boris, Honorary Event Chairs. “We always look forward to and enjoy this magnificent evening with those that support FISH and our community.” Guests learned about the clients of FISH through testimonials provided by those served and read by Maria Espinoza, Food Programs Director and Kathy Monroe, Program Director. A short video and speeches by Maggi Feiner, President & CEO and Alicia Tighe, Executive Director informed guests about the organization's 2019 accomplishments and future plans for programming and growth.
