Friendly Faces Luncheon
FISH OF SANCAP is thrilled to welcome you to our community-wide Friendly Faces Luncheon, offered in-person at the Rec Center and also virtually by Zoom. We are distributing furniture and rebuilding products through the Hurricane Ian Point of Distribution Program (POD), thanks to our United Way partnership. The program is available to Sanibel and Captiva Island residents and workforce, on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last. We are so excited to host community partner SalusCare on Wed. Aug. 2 at The Gathering Place! 1:1 discussions occur from 11:00a-2:00p focusing on hurricane related topics including PTSD, trauma, and loss. Project H.O.P.E. will also be available from 2:00p-4:00p offering open discussions on post storm trauma, including mental exhaustion, decision-making, financial fears, etc. No appointments are needed - hope to see you there!

At our luncheon, Wendy will guide guests on how to check for medication interactions, how to purchase over the counter medications safely and more! Wendy has been a nurse for 43 years and has been the parish nurse at St Michael's & All Angels Episcopal Church for the last 9 years.

Partnering with the United Way Gifts-in-Kind Program, will are distributing furniture and other household items including rebuilding supplies. The program is available to Sanibel and Captiva Island residents and workforce.
