2023 F.I.S.H. 10K/5K – FISH of SANCAP

We are pleased to announce the date for our 15^th annual road race scheduled for Sat., Dec. 2, 2023. This year’s race marks the first in-person event in recent years. In 2020-2021 the organization offered a virtual only race due to COVID and canceled the 2022 event due to Hurricane Ian. The 2023 10K/5K will also offer a virtual option, but FISH encourages runners to join in-person and stay on the islands for the day or weekend. We are restructuring our race fundraiser to celebrate the resilience of the islands by adding additional activities throughout race day including a 5K to the morning activities, followed by a family day hosted by and in partnership with the Sanibel Recreation Center including a kids’ fun run, games, food and more. Support for the race is critical as FISH continues to serve the residents and workforce of the islands. Registration for the in-person or virtual race will include a swag bag with a race-day bib, freebies from our partners, a t-shirt, and a finisher medal. You won’t want to miss the post-race award ceremony and celebration!
