FISH Welcomes Silver Sponsor of 10K Race, Janet Strickland, PA

The Law Office of Janet Strickland, P.A. has committed to a Silver Sponsorship of the 10K Race 4 F.I.S.H.

Strickland has been active in the Sanibel community since opening her law office in August 2010. “Sanibel has some of the best organizations, making it a terrific place to live and work,” said Strickland.  “I support FISH because of all the wonderful services they provide to the people who work or live on Sanibel and Captiva.”

Strickland’s areas of practice include Estate Planning — the preparation of Last Wills, revocable and irrevocable trust agreements and related documents, and analysis of ownership of assets; Probate representation and filing; and Elder Law, including preparation of Durable Power of Attorney forms, Designation of Health Care Surrogate forms, and other advance directives. She is a current member of Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar; Estate Planning Council of Lee County Member and Lee County Bar Association and a former member of Port Orange-South Daytona Chamber of Commerce Legal Counsel (2004-2010). Within our community Strickland is an active member of the Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF), the ‘Ding’ Darling Wildlife Society and has served on the BIG ARTS Board of Directors since 2014.

“We are delighted to have Janet as a race sponsor,” said Nicole McHale, race committee co-chair. “She is a vital part of our community who is dedicated to the success of island residents and workers.”
